MMA classes are available to all skill levels and are conducted by Coach Alex Ricci, a Canadian Lightweight MMA fighter, who has over ten years of experience teaching MMA to adults and youth.

Our MMA classes fuse the very best of Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, to name but a few of the many sport-based martial arts available. Training MMA will build confidence in you, teach you discipline and self defense, not to mention a huge stress reliever.

M1 elite training courses are available to all members of all ages and at all stages of ability and are conducted by our club staff who each have over ten years of experience teaching MMA style training.

Alex Ricci, our head instructor, will take you through our fit, disciplined and fun philosophy which are taught by the same methods that were originally developed to train fighting professionals of MMA.

M1 MMA training is designed to push you to your limits, both mentally and physically with each class starting with a light warm up. This is closely followed up with drilling with a partner, instruction of technical techniques, flow drills, bag/pad work and technical sparing.

An assimilation of all combat forms of fighting including but not limited to, Knockouts and submissions, standing and ground and striking and wrestling is making MMA one of the fastest expanding sports in the world today.

Here at M1, we break this often misinterpreted, dynamic art form with its rich smorgasbord of skill sets, down into its root units of strategies, tactics, movements, techniques and drills that share common ground with them all.

*In order to participate in any of our classes, you will need wraps, gloves, a mouthpiece, headgear, gloves and pads.
